Hello, All You Amazing Creative People!

Today I wanted to share a simple layered tag that I created using 7 Dot Studio's New "Butterfly Effect" Collection designed by Finnabair. This collection is an inspired mix of texture and colour with lots of lovely butterflies, it's simply stunning!

After selecting a sheet from the collection I used a piece of chipboard to add dimension to my tag. Next, I added a bit of a distressed look with some Finnabair's Rust paste.

I like ATCs very much. I really like the idea that I can trade cards with other artists. They're not big, so they don't take up much space. Just great.

I created mixed-media ATCs. They have so many layers that you can't fit them in an album, but I have a special box for such cards😊

How did I make them?

I covered the HDF bases with black gesso and glued small metallic flakes on the edge.

On the watercolour paper (which was smaller than ATC size) I used liquid acrylic, stamps, rub-ons and icing paste.

Then I chose some metal elements, chipboards and casts and covered them with black gesso, metallic paints and waxes.

At the end, I glued everything together.

Hi everyone, since we are already in the second month of the new year, I am a bit late altering my calendar. But I honestly thought I would have enough with just the digital one. 

But later I realised I missed my real one, so found one and of course, it needed a bit of altering. So I took out my paints and favourite embellishments and filmed the process for you.
