Wonder by Mary Tzalla

Hello dear friends and welcome on the blog!
Today, I would like to show you my latest project and I have also prepared a step by step Video Tutorial. This time I made a mixed media canvas with lots of Finnabair mixed media products and embellishments.

I started by applying White Crackle paste and when it was dried and the crackles were shown, I applied Finnabair Paper paste through the ''Swirly Florals'' stencil and heat embossed the pattern to make it more visible.

Then, I primed all the resin elements with Black Gesso and painted them with Finnabair Spark and Mettalique acrylic paints. The chipboards were also treated the same way.
When everything was dried I arranged all the elements around my photo and made several layers with flowers, resin and metal embellishments.

To finish the layout, I added glass beads and glitter with soft matte gel along with some glitter for more shine.

You can watch the whole process in my video!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello dear friends and welcome on the blog today!
I hope you and your families are healthy and strong. Today, I would like to show you my latest layout and I have also prepared a step by step Video Tutorial. My layout is featuring the 7 Dots Studio ''Writer's Block'' collection and lots of Finnabair mixed media products.

For my background, I choose to use two papers the ''Inkwell'' and the ''Torn''. I made a layer with the second one on the bottom of the first and distressed all the edges. Just because I wanted to keep the background simple I didn't used many mixed media techniques. I only applied Finnabair Paper paste through the ''Ornate Lace'' stencil and then, I randomly stamped on the background using the ''Gothic Book'' stamp with a black archival ink.

Then, I painted all the resin elements and chipboard with Finnabair Patina Effect paste. When everything was dried I arranged them around my photo and made several layers with flowers and metal embellishments from Finnabair and Mitform Castings.

To finish the layout, I added glass beads and glitter with soft matte gel along with some glitter for more shine.

You can watch my process in my video!

Hello dear friends!

Today it's Mary on the blog to show you my latest layout which is made with 7 Dots Studio papers and a lot of Finnabair products!

For my background, I used the Underpaper paper from the Paint Chips collection. I started by applying clear gesso and then I made some stenciling work using two different stencils, one with modeling paste and the second one with the Dark Brown paste from the Metal Rust Set. Then, I made a little stamping and added color with  sprays.

I heat embossed the chipboard and I gently applied wax in Rose Gold.

Continued by priming with black gesso the moulds and sprayed them with several sprays. When dried, I again applied wax in Rich Copper.

After I glued everything down and made my composition I added glass beads and glitter with soft gloss gel.

You can watch all the procedure in my video!
