ATC set by Asia Szczurowska

I like ATCs very much. I really like the idea that I can trade cards with other artists. They're not big, so they don't take up much space. Just great.

I created mixed-media ATCs. They have so many layers that you can't fit them in an album, but I have a special box for such cards😊

How did I make them?

I covered the HDF bases with black gesso and glued small metallic flakes on the edge.

On the watercolour paper (which was smaller than ATC size) I used liquid acrylic, stamps, rub-ons and icing paste.

Then I chose some metal elements, chipboards and casts and covered them with black gesso, metallic paints and waxes.

At the end, I glued everything together.

Vintage Artist Trading Cards by Julia Chorna

Hello, dear MMP fans! It's Julia Chorna with you today with mixed media ATC cards.

This time I decided to use tissue paper for my background, and added some rub-ons.

A good pattern never goes amiss, so I used 3D gloss gel through my favourite stencil "Iris Tapestry" to paint it over later.

The next step was to cover all the elements ( frames and mechanicals) with black gesso, colour a little bit with sprays, and create a composition. After that, I added metallique paints and glass glitter.

Hope you liked my cards and find them inspiring!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Frozen ATCs by Julia Chorna

Hello, mixed-media fans!

I came to you with three frozen ATC cards on this beautiful winter day.

Here is a quick recipe for how to make them

1. Cover your basis with white gesso;

2. To make your card more interesting you can add a pattern through the stencil;

3. Add crackle paste;

4. Prepare everything for composition:

- die-cuts

- ephemerals

- laces

- plaster figures

-  some flowers

5. Layer all elements alternating them;

6. Use some paints and waxes on your project

7. Add toppings on the top.
