Be led by your dreams by Lisa Rabellino

Hi creative souls!

today it's Lisa Rabellino on the blog to show you a romance mixed media card with AB Studio papers and Finnabair products!

To start I cutted a piece of patterned paper from Diva AB Studio pad and I brushed it with a coat of clear gesso to protect the design. I glued my piece of paper on another piece of watercolor paper and then on my card. After that I made a little stamping with black archival ink and I used stencil with Finnabair Paper Paste.

After that I took Art Alchemy Liquid Paints and I used True Yellow and Tiger Orange colors with a little bit of water to blend as well. These colors are very extraordinary because once dry they become permanent.

From another paper of the AB Studio pad I cutted some leaves and flowers, so I glued my embellishments down and I added other details.

Finally with Soft Matt Gel I added micro beads and glitter here and there and I made splatters with white acrylic paint.

I hope you enjoyed my mixed media card!

Thanks for stopping by with me!

Lisa

Blue whale by Marina Ignatova

Hello, dear friends! How do you start a new project? What do you need to create a picture in your head?
This time my imagination led me to those distant times when current knowledge was inaccessible to people and they believed that our earth stands on three whales.

One of these whales I recreated with the help of our favorite scrapbooking.
A perfectly charming town built on the back of my whale. So floral, a little cartoon. It clearly always has an atmosphere of happiness and joy. Look, there's even a lighthouse there!

Most likely, the text on this panel has confused you. "Wait, but a whale is not a fish, but a mammal!" you tell me. "But did you know that people in those days, when they believed that the earth is flat?" - I will answer you.

I hope you liked my project! How far can your imagination take you?) Inspiration to all!

Altered tin by Anat Weksler

Hello mixed-media friends! Here is Anat sharing with you my new project.

Today's project doesn’t have a tutorial, but I’ll be back with brand new one on November 23!

I love upcycling and that’s what I did in this project, I turned a baby formula tin box into a storage tin box.

The first step was to cover it with Black Gesso, then spreading plaster paste through a stencil and cover again with black gesso.

The fun was to color it first with some waxes (list of all supplies below). I assembled and adhered the cluster in the front of the box, using Heavy Body Gel medium.

After all was dry I started playing with Junkyard Treasures Rust paste set and the green from Metal Rust paste set I finalized with waxes and white gesso splats.

Hope I inspire you to give a try!

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo
