My name is Galina Filippenko.
I live in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. I'm in love with my city and its history. I'm a huge fan of mixed media and I can't live with out dirty hands :) My favourite style is nautical as I love the sea! I love the smell of new paper and I am a real paper hoarder. I’m so happy to be a guest designer at Mixed Media Place blog!
To inspire you I have prepared a canvas in Japanese style with geisha. On this canvas I have combined different media as well as stamping and watercolor coloring. It was my first "one layer" canvas and I like this experiment.
I created my background layer by layer, starting with light colors of acrylic paints and finishing with green colors of Ecoline - fluid watercolor.I hope you like it and will catch some Japanese inspiration ;)
