Take time by Lanette Erickson

Hello All you Amazing Creative People,

One of the amazing things about being on the Mixed Media Place Team is the annual Mystery Box of goodies! It's always a wonderful mix but at the same time it’s a kind of challenge too!

My box contained a bit of the beautiful " Verano Azul Collection" from 7 Dot Studio, no naturally I created a layout with my mysterious box.

If you would like to see how this layout came together you can see my process start to finish over on my YouTube Channel here:

I hope that I have inspired you in some way to try something new, or even create your own mystery box to create with! Until Next Time Hugs, Lanette

Mysterious Box series - Inna Bronnikova

Hello dear crafters :)

Because we believe, everyone likes surprises - especially nice ones :) - some time ago we started sending Mysterious Boxes to our DT members :) They receive a box with supplies - this is our surprise - and they create something using everything, that was in the box :) That is a fun part :) And than they share their project on our blog :)

And we thought that maybe it is also a good idea for everyone now. Find a fellow crafter, that you would like to send something, that we call "mysterious box" and ask if they join. If yes, you can send Mysterious Boxes with some crafting items inside to each other, have great fun and than share the links to your projects with us! What do you think? Are you in? :)

Below this post there is a link to Inlinkz - we will wait for your Mystery Boxes projects. Uplift each other <3

Hello, friends!
Today it's Inna on the blog to show you my latest layout.
AB Studio Dreamland Collection Kit inspired me to create this layout.

For the background, I used the bottom page of the  Fields of flowers.

I started with clear gesso and then did some stencil work using texture paste crackle. You can see all the stages of work on the video that I recorded for you.

Give voice to your story by Lisa Rabellino

Hi creative souls!
Lisa Rabellino today on the blog to show you my latest  mixed media layout with AB Studio papers and many Finnabair products!

To start I chose a patterned paper from AB Studio Diary collection and I brushed it with a coat of clear gesso to protect the design. After that I made a little stamping with black archival ink and I used Read My Letter stencil with modelling paste.

After that I took Art Alchemy Liquid Paints and I used Deep Turquoise and Burnt Sienna colors with a little bit of water to blend as well. These colors are very extraordinary because they are so bright and once dry they become permanent.
I glued some papers embellishments under my black and white photo and I prepared my focal point, adding also chipboards and other elements.

From another paper of the AB Studio pad I cut some leaves and flowers, so I glued all my embellishments down and I added Prima Marketing flowers and Mechanicals bottle caps

With Soft Matt Gel I added Finnabair Art Stones and Glass Glitter Gold Rush here and there.
To finish my project I made splatters with White Titanium Art Alchemy Liquid Paint.

I hope you enjoyed my mixed media layout!
Thanks for stopping by with me!
Lisa
