Take time by Lanette Erickson

Hello All you Amazing Creative People,

One of the amazing things about being on the Mixed Media Place Team is the annual Mystery Box of goodies! It's always a wonderful mix but at the same time it’s a kind of challenge too!

My box contained a bit of the beautiful " Verano Azul Collection" from 7 Dot Studio, no naturally I created a layout with my mysterious box.

If you would like to see how this layout came together you can see my process start to finish over on my YouTube Channel here:

I hope that I have inspired you in some way to try something new, or even create your own mystery box to create with! Until Next Time Hugs, Lanette

ATC set by Asia Szczurowska

I like ATCs very much. I really like the idea that I can trade cards with other artists. They're not big, so they don't take up much space. Just great.

I created mixed-media ATCs. They have so many layers that you can't fit them in an album, but I have a special box for such cards😊

How did I make them?

I covered the HDF bases with black gesso and glued small metallic flakes on the edge.

On the watercolour paper (which was smaller than ATC size) I used liquid acrylic, stamps, rub-ons and icing paste.

Then I chose some metal elements, chipboards and casts and covered them with black gesso, metallic paints and waxes.

At the end, I glued everything together.

Steampunk canvas by Mila Correa

Hello creative friends, I bring you a steampunk canvas.

Using Finnabair products, moulds, pastes, acrylic painting.

The background was the paper that I protected while painting one of the canvases that I presented before… I loved how it turned out, I just added certain details and it was left to use on the canvas.
