I am pleased to present my first creation for Mixed Media Place.
Trick or Treat!
To celebrate Halloween and welcome the children who will come knocking at my door, I have customised a candy box to make it evil and magical. Will the children dare to put their hand inside to catch a candy?
I used several different Finnabair moulds, skeletons and vintage portraits. After a coat of black Gesso, I coloured with the iridescent Opal Magic paints. I added a dramatic touch with the Charcoal Black matte wax and for even more magic, a bluish glow with the Patina Blue matte wax. To finish and warm up my candy box I used Rich copper metallic wax.
