From the heart by Georgie

Hi there!

Georgie here and today I’m sharing a journal page on canvas. Using a load of yummy ingredients (listed below), I’ve gone for bright and fun, in contrast to a lot of my work recently. 

I started with a stencil and modelling paste to lay the foundation, and whilst wet I add white thread and some Scapiniec doilies chippies.

The frame is over a Relics and Artifacts piece of two people looking up, kind of like they are hoping, believing… And the reason I chose it for this piece. :)

7 Dots Word Elements, somehow these days nothing seems complete without them! You can also see the close up art stones and glitter too. 

I used various Lindy’s spray paints, dabbing from the bottle rather than spraying, and then spiriting with water to dilute and spread the colour. 

I hope you enjoyed my project and found some inspiration from it.
