I love that Prima Marketing Butterfly - it is a kind of ready element to be embellished. I decided to add a little bit color to it and to go in retro style. I have used a lot of Acrylic Paints - ArtAlchemy - and Color Bloom mists. I have created interesting effect of rust using Prima - Art Extravagance - Rust Effect Paste.
At the beginning I covered the whole base with gesso. After gluing the cogs, I started adding colours. At the bottom you can find acrylic paints and I have ended colouring with mists. Final tough was done with white gesso.
