France inspires again!
I made the background of this spread while teaching art journaling classes in Italy. It was a great feeling to create freely (without a determined project!) together with a group of wonderfully inspired and inspiring ladies!
The background is done with ColourArte Emperors Gold Silks. I added 3D Matte Gel over a stencil to create a resist, then added more Silks and Silks mixed with Soft Gloss Gel.
The focal element is a mixture of rusted Tengucho paper, plaster and Cambric colorized with Autumn Leaf Silks.
The heart is home made and measures about 2.5 mm!
It's a wonderful memory to look back at and that's what I love about my art journal: it takes me back to wonderful moments in life.
