You know what? It's still not too late!
It's only December 2nd so in case you wanted to make an Advent calendar this year and somehow didn't - we have a beautiful and super quick idea for you!
Every year I prepare an Advent calendar with lots of surprises for my
kids. We wait for Christmas and spend plenty of time creating
Christmas tree ornaments.
My kids love to receive small gifts. In the
past our Christmas calendar was made of fabric - I sewn a kind of
a board with lots of pockets.
This year I decided to use paper bags and
create tags with numbers - one for each day. I made everything double,
because I have two kids. :)
I have used several media - I love diversity. Some numbers were painted
with red Acrylic Paint - Claudine Hellmuth's paints have rich colors and
great texture.
Other numbers were covered with Finnabair's Soft Gloss Gel and then I sprinkled some Art Ingredients Glass Glitter (Platinum) over them.

I wanted to add some sparks of light to my whole project so I covered
some numbers with Finnabair's Glitter from Crimson set. First, I applied
Ranger Emboss It Clear Ink in a form of dabber, then I sprinkled Ranger
Embossing Sticky Powder, I heated everything up and then I used Finnabair
glitter.
My project is one of many creative ideas for an Advent Calendar. I hope I have
inspired you a little bit to create something for your loved ones.
Have a great day!
