Summer Days

Tags are such friendly "creatures"... :)
They make sweet little gift cards, lovely decortations and can even serve as bookmarks.
Why not create such cuties with Linda today?! :)

Hi there,
I hope youre all having a beautiful summer day.
Today I want to show you some tags I've made to give with a present for my friends and family.
I've chosen a birthday theme but I guess it could be any theme you want it to be.

I also thought of summer so flowers were a must. I love the metal flowers from Prima, so wanted to use some of them. I've used a medium size manilla tag for all my three tags.

First, I used a Prima stencil and Golden molding paste to create the  pattern on the tag. I left this to dry overnight. I also primed some metal embellishments with a coat of clear gesso.

Next day, I gave the metal pieces a coat of Glimmer Mists. The tags were sprayed with various ink sprays. When the sprays were dry, I stamped them with various background stamps.

I added a new layer of paper and decorated the tags with various metal embellishments, flowers and fibers.

The happy birthday sentiment is cut out with my Cameo. The final touch is the twine.
Wishing you all a beautiful summer day!
