Hello Everyone!
This time I worked with a woodcut mdf base, but instead of the traditional layout I turned the frame part a bit, so the composition was placed to the left instead of the centre. I think it's a bit more special. Of course, you can see the steampunk style on this one too.
I used aubergine impasto and burnt sienna liquid acrylic to achieve the purple-brown background.
I applied white and black gesso to the mould elements, then mixed mermaid teal metallic acrylic paint with avocado green liquid acrylic paint.
I coloured the head with crimson and ink black liquid acrylics and a tiny bit of aubergine impasto, and the face with burnt sienna.
I added finnabair metallic flowers and leaves using white gold and bronze age waxes. I also used white gold wax on the mould elements and stencilling.
As a final step, I added granular decorative elements and glitter powder.
I wish you a beautiful day and a week full of creativity.
Love,
Marietta
