Sea themed wall decor by Ola

Hello dears! Ola here. I prepared for you a new video tutorial, for sea themed wall decoration. I worked on wooden Hamsa. In a Middle East tradition this item represents God protective hand and brings you a good luck. But you can make the same project just on canvas.

I began by adding a few Hebrew words with nice meaning (instead you can use English words): Happiness, Luck, Blessing, Health, Success, Joy. Next I added some textures with lace fabric and Stone Effect paste and covered all the base with White gesso.

After drying I glued all the elements. The big Star Fish I ordered from Aliexpress site. And the other shells came from Israeli Mediterranean Sea. I added a little bit more texture to some of the embellishments, using Rust Effect pastes.

Than I colored the project with Art Alchemy paints. I really love the Ombre effect, which I got at the end :)

Hope you'll like this tutorial.
