Hi Lovelies!

Georgie here with you today and I’m sharing another little altered box. I have been desperate to play with the new waxes from Finnabair, so had to give them a try. Although, I know it has been said a thousand times already but boy do they smell good!

I first adhered some new Scrapiniec pieces to the top, then added Modelling Paste, Sand Paste with Art Stones and Mini Art Stones.

Once dried and secure, I gave everything a coat with Black Gesso.

Then highlighted the raised areas with White Gesso… and then came the yummy waxes! :)

I used a mixture of five. Starting out with Green Brocade and Turquoise Satin, then adding Brushed Iron to knock back the colour a little. Then in odd places to give extra depth I lightly highlight again with Vintage Silk, finishing up with Vintage Gold over the Art Stones.

Love all the texture the art stones give, especially combined with the Srapiniec. Finished the top of the box off with some gorgeous Mechanicals to give a sun effect, so the box has been called Soleil. :)
