“There are various eyes,
Even the Sphinx has eyes;
and as a result there are
various truths, and as a result
there is no truth”.
Even the Sphinx has eyes;
and as a result there are
various truths, and as a result
there is no truth”.

Hello. I like to embrace “difference”. I love that our world is so
diverse, and I guess that all starts with how we “see” things. “Looking”
is not the same as “seeing”.We can all “look” at the same objects but
we will all “see” different things, what they are and what they can
become.
Take a chipboard tag and Finnabair Vintage Trinket Bottle Caps… simple things.
Add some 3D Matte Gell Medium, some metal bits and pieces and
what I end up seeing is different to what others will see.
Take a second look and “see” something different again.
A little loop of leather keeps one eye shut.
Glass beads tear drops and metal coloured with Distress Stains (clear
gesso applied first to help stains to adhere). The tear drop shaped first
with 3D Matte Gel, then beads dropped on.
The chipboard tag was first painted with Graffiti paint, then collaged with
paper. Prima Gold Foil Color Bloom was then sprayed on through a
stencil and finally, some Aged Black embossing enamel before all the
metal pieces were attached with 3D Matte Gel.
