Freezing cold silver and hot red by Tusia Lech

Hello everyone,
I am not a regular contributor for Mixed Media Place blog, but this month I am here with some Christmas cards and step-by-step video.
We all love receiving personalized gifts - Christmas Cards are great opportunity to let somebody know, that they are special. I love creating unique cards - there are no two identical cards. They may be similar, because I used similar or same products, but the whole fun is in creating with artistic freedom. Duplicating things is something definitely not for me :)

You can see set of cards created with 7 Dots Studio Yuletide collection, available in Mixed Media Place store and several Finnabair media - whole supply list is at the bottom of this blogpost (with active links).

When you take a look on close-ups you will see, how textured the cards are. I have used micro beads, glass beads, art stones, snowflake paste and also gesso mixed with impasto paints. The possibilities are endless, but I wanted to create a mixture of freezing cold silver-white with hot red and warm golden. Perfect combination for upcoming festive season.

Here is my video tutorial:

Thank you for visiting the blog today. I hope you enjoyed my creations :)
