Rusty lesson of history and special gift by TandiArt

Hello Arty Friends:)

Today a bit different project, far from my fairies:) It is a birthday present for my brother who loves history and especially military planes:0 This is a polish army-cooperation plane Lublin R-XIII designed in Poland in 1930. I wanted the whole painting to be 'old' and rusty therefore I played with Rusty Effect Paints by Prima and I absolutely love them. They are so easy to use and once they dry, the change into beautiful matt rust!

I also used Sculpture Medium and while it was still wet, I used texture brushes and collage elements to create interesting texture and of course I couldn't not to include mechanicals by Finnabair as they helped me to create vintage World War II look:) I also have video for you: Enjoy!
