Freedom Box

Do you have  sweet tooth? Well... you'd better think twice before you throw away an empty chocolate box. ;)
A fantastic mixed media inspiration by Pascale!

Hello, Sweeties!
Today, I recycled a chocolate box...

I covered the box cover with two layers of White Gesso. Then I glued the 7 Dots Studio Domestic Goddess paper after distressing it.
I added a design with a stencil and White Crackle Paste.

When dry, I colored the background with Twinkling H2Os, added some splatters with diluted Black Gesso, and began my composition with some flowers and metal embellishments.

I used some leftovers from the background paper to stamp the butterflies from 'Don't Forget To Fly' set. I used black Archival ink and then I colored them. I stamped them on a tracing paper, too.
Then I assembled the butterflies together: one paper + one tracing paper.

I covered the flowers with a thin layer of White Gesso.
I added some color and some Art Ingredients: Glass Glitter, Micro Beads and Mica Flakes.

I stamped the sentiment from the same cling stamp set on a scrap of paper and glued it on the side of the box cover.

I hope you like my little Freedom Box! :)
