Mnie zdarzyło się niedawno tak, że wróciłam do domu z pracy, zadumałam się nad jesienią, miastem w deszczu, życiem... takie tam babskie przemyślenia I nagle usłyszałam w radio piosenkę. Piosenkę wykonawcy, którego bardzo lubię, a który już od kilku lat nie nagrał nowej płyty. I nagle ta piosenka zawładnęła moim sercem i duszą i czułam, że po prostu muszę natychmiast zrobić COŚ
Sometimes I have these moments in life when inspiration comes suddenly and unexpectedly. Two weeks ago I came home from work and I was thinking about autumn, about my city in the rain, about life... all these nostalgic girly stuff And suddenly I heard a song on the radio. I really like the singer but he hasn't record any new albums for several years. And then this new song of his took possession of my heart and soul, and I felt that I just have to do something immediately
Mamy tu naprawdę imponującą ilość mediów Sama baza powstawała kilka godzin - jak w transie nakładałam kolejne warstwy, podsuszałam - dodawałam kolory, rozbielałam gesso i dodawałam coś znów
Uwielbiam takie twórcze zapomnienie, kiedy cały świat przestaje istnieć, a ważny jest tylko kawałek scrapowego stołu, muzyka i upaprane mediami palce :D
There is a very impressive amount of media here I created the base itself for a few hours - as in some kind of trance I was adding another layers, drying it out, adding colors, whitening with gesso and adding something else again
I love the creative oblivion, when the whole world disappears and there's only me, my scrap-table, music and fingers covered with all kind of media :D
Gdy baza była już gotowa zaczęłam bawić się dodatkami - stare części od zegarków kolekcjonuję od lat, ale ponieważ chciałam utrzymać całą pracę w lekkiej dziewczęcej kolorystyce, postanowiłam zabarwić je farbkami Vintaj Patina - na takiej jaśniejszej bazie łatwiej trzymają się też inne media - tutaj głównie mgiełki Glimmer Mist.
Korzystałam też z rozwodnionych farbek Ayeeda Paint, dzięki czemu praca jest częściowo błyszcząca, a częściowo matowa - dokładnie tak, jak lubię.
When the base was ready, I started playing with extras - the old watches parts are something I collect over the years, but I wanted to keep this piece in the light girly colors, so I decided to stain them with Vintaj Patina. This way it was easier to covered them with some other media - mainly Glimmer Mists.
I also used some diluted Ayeeda paints so that the work is partly shining and partly matt - exactly the way I like it
I tak oto powstał mediowy blejtram i przysięgam Wam - cały calutki wieczór słuchałam w kółko tej jednej piosenki usłyszanej przypadkiem w radio. A ponieważ uważam, że warto wspierać młodych zdolnych polskich artystów, to chciałam się nią z Wami podzielić:
And that is how this mixed-media canvas was created and I swear to you - for the whole evening I was listening to this one song over and over again. And because I believe that it is worth supporting young talented Polish artist, I wanted to share it with you:
Przelałam tu tak wiele wspomnień, emocji, zmian nastroju - a wszystko podszyte ogromną dawką nadziei i pozytywnego spojrzenia w przyszłość.
To jedna z tych prac, które mają w sobie coś bardzo magicznego i osobistego.

I poured so many memories, emotions, mood changes in here - all lined with a huge dose of hope and a positive outlook for the future.
It's one of those works that have something very magical and personal in it.
But I'm really very happy and proud that I can share it with you
