November challenge

This month moodboard is crisp and cold. It reminds me cold Autumn mornings, when everything is frosted and beautiful. Snowflakes magically shimmer in cool light of a dawn. But there are still lots of Autumn remnants - dried leaves, nuts and fruits, that the birds and other animals will feed on during winter.

Inspiration from our Design Team:

Creating this layout was fantastic time i really enjoyed. I was inspired by the colors of the moodboard - mainly the brown tones, the soft blue and the frost white.

The quote led me to the picture i used, as autumn and then winter lead to the death of the nature, then again the nature rises in spring. This is a quote i keep repeating myself too... every bad thing happens for a reason. And at the end, something good will come up.

This time, inspired by beautiful moodboard, I created a small autumnal canvas and a video, showing the whole process.

Here my video - enjoy :)

Hello Arty Souls! I love the moodboard for this challenge:) I decided to make my fairy in a vintage style with a sparkle of glitter and metal hearts by Prima.

I decided to interpret the challenge in a form of Altered Art. Here is my creation in 3D. Remember to scroll down - you will find there a video :)

I love flowers and stencils. The Finnabair Prima products are great to achieve very artistic look.

Yet again another gorgeous mood board to play with and I do hope you’ll feel inspired by it. I started with a base of 7 Dots 6x6 Fortune Teller paper, cutting and making it fit to a tall narrow card blank.

I then added some white gesso with cheesecloth, some white crackle over top, then stenciled with modelling paste and added some embossing powder and heated set.

Some Scrapiniec pieces layered, gessoed and then some white and gold ink splats.

The process for creating the focal was a case of layering some embellishments. I used some paper clay and an IOD mould, one of the Purity flowers and a metal piece.

Once all in place I gave a light coat of gesso and to highlight some of the under layers. Then some playful mini art stones were added here and there with micro beads in Pollen. To bring the blue that is in the background forward I added a touch of Finnabairs blue glitter to the centre of the flower.

I finished up with a sprinkle of white embossing powder to give that fine speckle effect across the piece. This helps to tie it altogether and feel more cohesive.

Board inspired me to work in a neo-vintage style. The basis for my project is a wooden tray, that I painted, and created a very voluminous composition. And that's what happened. Very cozy interior composition, and pictures that gave a special warmth.
