Love letter

Another fantastic make from our DT member France. Mix of vintage and teal looks so perfect.
Would you agree ? See it for yourself!

Isn't it bliss when you can combine vibrant colors with a vintage look? That is one of my to go places when looking for creative meditation!

I started by applying Art Basics Heavy White Gesso over the Bubbles stencil on a tag and left it to dry.
Mixing up some Primary Elements with Clear Acrylic Glaze, I created a color pallet to add in a blended way on my tag.

Simply applying the mixtures with a paint brush, the gesso slightly resists the glaze, which gives this grungy effect to the colors.
I added some Copper Crackle Paste over the Halftone stencil, left it to dry, added some Autumn Leaf splatters and some sewing as well.

Now that my focal image was in place, I could go wild with embellishments: some rusted metal and a lot of micro beads. To make it all work with the colors underneath, I also added a light touch of glitter.

I hope it will inspire you to get creative! Now go, go and get your stash out!
