Time Is Precious

Flowers in January? Why not?!
That's the whole beauty of mixed media world... :)

Hello Sweeties,
An old year has just finished and a new one started. A new year that I wish you is full of joy, happiness and inspirations...
Do you have the feeling, like me, that the years seem to fly away faster and faster?
Here is a project I made about passing time...

I primed the canvas with some White Gesso before gluing several scraps of paper with Soft Matte Gel.
I continued with some stamping here and there. To add some texture, I gued strips of fibreglass fabric tape (you can find it in a hardware store) and some Clear Crackle Paste applied through a stencil.

Then, I started arranging my composition glueing all the elements - Mechanicals clock parts and paper flowers - with 3D Matte Gel.

After leaving my composition to dry overnight, I used several Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to color the flowers and the background.

I hope you like my canvas and that you "waste your time wisely"... ;)

p.s. Have you seen the news...? :)
