3 Creative Girls

Those of you who are regular visitors to our blog, already know that meetings with other creative souls are something that often inspires our Design Team members to create really special artworks.
Today Linda is celebrating one of such art meetings.. :)

Hello creative friends.
Today I have a layout to share with you.
This picture was taken at the Papirfest in Stavanger this fall. I met Sherry Mendoza for the first time and together with Brit Sviggum we just had the perfect creative time together. I wanted to make an artsy but simple layout.

I started to create the background by using a Ranger mask and blue Silks paint. I love the blue color against the dark brown pattern paper from 7 Dots Studio (Nature Walk collection).

When the paint was dry, I began to layer ephemera in various blue colors behind the picture.

I also found some scrap burlap to use and puff 3d stickers to match.
The pink flair is designed by Sherry and we got it as a gift from her, when taking her class.
I found the neon pink thread in a hardware store, I think it is originally made to use by bricklayers.  :)

When finished with all the paper and stickers, I thought the page needed something extra to it, so I added some splashes with white ink and it did the trick of putting the page together.
