Box Book Magic Continues

In many parts of the world we're dealing with dreary November days but lucky for us, we have our lovely Gayle in Australia to lift our spirits with some vibrant colors and inspiring art! :)

Hello. A little while back I showed you a book I was making out of an old box.
So, today I will show you a bit more... the inside front cover.

The base paper is “Raspberry Pudding” from Domestic Goddess line. I have to confess this is my all time favourite piece of paper, I love the beautiful rich colour.
I’ve started by stamping and embossing two small doilies from the Vintage Vanity Clear Stamp Set. Also stamped with black Stazon ink the Prima Vintage Vanity “Music Book” image.
Next, I used the Sunrise Sunset “Checker” Stencil with Art Basics Modelling Paste. I love that the squares of this versatile stencil tie in with the squares in the lace on the paper. I know, just a little thing, but to me small details are important.

The embelishments... half a Prima Die Cut Doily, some chipboard words, flowers, two Finnabair metal Mechanicals and some Glass Beads attached with Art Basics Soft Matte Gel.

The beautiful colour on the texture paste, the chipboard words and on the glass beads comes from Silks Acrylic Glaze.

The sparkling gold is Stampendous Aged Black Embossing Enamel. I also used stamps from Finnabair’s Cold Country Collection.

I thought I might also show you my box open so you can see the inside cover, the peek at the first page and how it is starting to come together.
