Witajcie! Jestem bardzo radosna mogąc się z Wami dzielić moją pierwszą pracą dla DT Mixed-Media Place. Cieszę się, że mogę tu być bo przecież mixed-media to coś, co kocham najbardziej. Ale kto nie kocha, prawda?

Oto moja mixed-mediowa strona przygotowana w wędrującym żurnalu Miszelki. Przygotowała go w starej książce i to właśnie nasze ulubione książki są jego tematem. Jedną z moich ulubionych jest "12 opowiadań tułaczych" G.G.Marqueza. Znajdziecie tam miłość, namiętność, tajemnicę, tęsknotę, desperację i o wiele więcej. Moja praca to dwanaście małych kwadratów tak kolorowych jak kolorowe są opowieści. 

Hello guys! I'm so happy to share with you my first work made as a DT member. I'm so very excited to be here just because I simply love mixed-media techniques. But who doesn't, right?

Here is my very mixed-media page made in my friend's traveling art-journal. This art-journal is an old altered book and it is about books we love the most. One of my favorite is "Strange pilgrims" by G.G.Marquez which is a collection of twelve short stories. You can find in it love, passion, mistery, desperation, longing and much more. Here on my work you can see twelve small tiles as colorful as these stories are.

Do stworzenia tła wykorzystałam gesso, pastę strukturalną i gel medium. Potem dodałam trochę stemplowania za pomocą trwałych tuszów. Jeśli chodzi o kwadraty to do pokolorowania użyłam mediów takich jak Glimmer Misty, Glimmer Glaze, Glimmer Glamy, Distress Paints i Silksy. Te ostatnie są teraz moim ulubionymi. Uwielbiam ich nasycone kolory i... konsystencję. Tak, to uczucie gdy nakładasz Silksy jest po prostu niesamowite. Musicie spróbować.

 I created background using gesso, modeling paste and gel medium. Then added some stamping with permanent inks. As for tiles I coloured them with Glimmer Mists, Glimer Glaze, Glimmer Glams, Distress Paints and Silks which are one of my favorite paints at the moment. I love their bright colors and... consistence. Yes, that's right - the feeling when you  paint with Silks is just amazing. You just need to try it.
